The Masculine & The Feminine

The masculine and the feminine are naturally complementary positionalities. These primal attitudes are present in both men and women, and if they are not in proper balance, the total organism is disrupted. The unrealized individual is forever at the mercy of these imbalanced forces. This striving for balance is a crucial duty that esoteric and religious philosophies are predicated upon.

It is not possible to truly understand receptivity, and furthermore, weakness, without also knowing independence and strength. Neither should be embraced at the exclusion of the other – rather, both must be understood to be integrated properly.

malefemalehyperborean

Men and women must approach these attitudes differently. As a man, one must hold fast to maleness, even when integrating the feminine aspects of the psyche. The inverse is true for women. Otherwise, one may fall into delusions of “gender fluidity” while on the path to integrity. This is a pitfall that must be avoided, because it is both a trap and a distraction.

Neither of these principles can be eliminated, as they exist in the heart of Nature itself.

In regards to women, there exists an incredible peer pressure that women naturally exert upon each other (and which is amplified by media). This is a major obstacle to integral spirituality for white women.

Men require challenges, and they require recognition for meeting those challenges. This is something that a feminist cannot truly understand, and instead seeks to fundamentally undermine.

Men naturally resist these tactics. However, as men, we must not attempt to treat women as mere property. We must assert a positive, assertive masculinity in order to subdue the wantonness that is an inherent part of a woman’s changeable nature. If this can be achieved, then one may be gifted with healthy sexual and marital relations.

hypergoreanwomanJust like men, women face unique challenges. Women have a sense of emotional depth quite rare in men and they anticipate the feelings of others very well. However, women have been estranged from their feminine nature, just as men have been from their masculine nature. Many women have integrated a “shrewish” nature through the pernicious influence of unbalanced feminism.

This is actually a survival mechanism for women in the modern world, because feminine consensus is now largely built on control over men. The influence that women naturally needed to exert over men to rein in their wild masculine tendencies and keep them focused on family needs has been turned against them in the form of modern feminism. This toxic extension of basic rights for women is destroying the social order by eroding its foundations.

Women, like men, need to be placed in conditions that employ and maximize their strengths, and be respected for that role. In the case of women, respect comes from the ardor of the man, and the harmonious connection to other women, where for men, it is due to mutual admiration and the pursuit of skillful feats (whether mental or physical).

If a society invokes a spiritual balance through its extant culture, adherence to the duty of balance naturally arises. The instincts of man and woman must be allowed to flow into the societal system or chaos inevitably results.

Concerning Hyperborean Spirituality – Part 2

[Note: This article also contains modified contributions by beserkerguru & cairbethebard]

The hyperborean peoples have been said to be cursed with the “mark of Cain” because of their strong exploratory, conquering, and resistant natures. However, due to such tendencies, we are unique in being both willing and capable of both creating new systems when needed, and changing existing systems to adapt to new situations.

gnosticjesus

It is important to realize that spiritual aspirations and spiritual realization ARE compatible with political stances, aims and memetic activities. The fact is, integral thinking is not incompatible with both critical thinking and race realism. This delusion is part of the (((control structure))) that limits our people from realizing their potential.

False Dichotomies

We are supposedly limited to either/or propositions – being spiritual vs practical, worldly vs mystical. These are examples of false dichotomies.falsedichotomy

False dichotomies are everywhere in the socio-political landscape, because they are useful tools to shape public opinion, sentiment and ultimately, group activity. They trap us in unnecessary quandaries without end.

The prevailing social narrative consists of a trap that presents us with a false dilemma. This paradigm forces individuals to choose between their innate tendencies of subjective preference, and those of objective analysis. This is framed as a struggle between the desire to relate, sympathize, and integrate, and the impulse to evaluate, judge, and restrict.

These principles are not mutually exclusive. We possess both of these inherent impulses, and both of these impulses are absolutely necessary to both our individual, tribal, and species survival. We are both are analyzers AND sympathizers, not either-or!

The contrast between preference and dislike is a fact of relative existence. Every person has things they prefer, and things they reject, as well as possessing relative strengths and weaknesses.

We cannot effectively employ one of these qualities without the other. If you focus only on that which you like, you become weak, negligent, hyper-accommodating: a division“snowflake”. If you focus only on what you dislike, you become captious, hard, uncaring – the so-called “extremist”.

The illusory division between tolerance and criticalness artificially divides a single continuum of decision: that of memory. To rely on only one pole of this line is to lose integrity: the ability to discern what is beneficial as well as what is necessary, not just one or the other.

Relying solely on preference is dangerous. For example, any “subjective science”, that is, a science where preference is inserted into the scientific method, is doomed to fail. Letting such an ideology run wild can cause severe harm.

Likewise, any “objective” or “hard scientific” means of understanding inter-relationship, feelings/emotions and motives can never truly be comprehensive, because it lacks a crucial component: that of subjective affinity. This cannot be accounted for with mere statistics.

Reflection & Action

The fact is: ignoring the plight of our people is to neglect a both a material and a spiritual duty.

pholActivism must coexist with the quest for spiritual realization, because otherwise it can trend downwards into the negative, into divisivneness, negativity, and blackpilling.

Also, we must fuse real world action with online presence. This means that you must make active use of your understanding of the world situation whenever the opportunity presents itself.

This doesn’t mean being a fanatic. Neither mere ideology nor simple organization will work on their own, they must fit together. The means by which they will fit together and obtain supremacy is through conventionality – that is, through being widely accepted.

Oppositional tactics are not the only means to obtain the goals which we seek, although they may, at times, be required. Conceptual acceptance is a crucial medium.

As hyperborean philosophers, we must present an ideology that is explicitly NOT intended to mesh with existing philosophies. This is deliberate, in order to create a separate or “counter-current” to so called “judeo-christianity” and other milquetoast ideologies.

Christianity & Tradition

A traditional orientation fundamentally resists such upstarts as “new age” movements and atheism, viewing these beliefs as based in fantasy, not fact. Of course, it is important to point out that agnosticism is not atheism, because it does not assume total certainty, where atheism flatly rejects the Divine concept.

Christianity is certainly a traditional ideology, but its current expressions are clearly flawed, incomplete, and misguided, and are therefore its institutions are unable to cope with spiritual atrophy. The authorities in these circles often lack a deep spiritual understanding.

cathedralChristianity is essentially a group religion, where people gather to worship. Churches are both community nexii as well as nodes in the Christian network. This is a valuable resource, when it is vitiated with enthusiasm and inspiration.

However, due to the decay of this community, the Christian network has also withered. A side-effect of this is that the spirituality of the people of said communities was also negatively affected.

However, the existing Christian communities should not be discounted, for they contain many good, spiritually-oriented people, who recognize the decay of the religion at large.

Individual Seeking & Ethics

Many traditions encourage a personal (or apprenticeship-based) spirituality. Such individualist philosophies often lack a firm code of ethics, which is detrimental to their spread in a wider societal context.

It is important to have a strong-yet-flexible spiritual code of ethics. It is also crucial to provide imagery and ideology that speaks to the current rise of decadence, as well as recognizing God’s indifference to destruction when the people are likewise indifferent.

All spiritual systems and disciplines are relative analogs of one another. They all seek the transcendent Source. However, this Source already provides the means of fundamental orientation for the life of sentient beings, however cryptic its mandate may appear.

Any codified system is simply an externalization of the internal realization of its founders. Although all may discover the truth of spiritual essence, few in this age do so. The light in said systems often dies out when the successors are spiritually flawed or empty.

It is the duty of a spiritual warrior to preserve the integrity of spirituality, so that future generations may benefit, just as it is the duty of the artist to preserve the qualities of thought-provocation and beauty in culture.

This duty implies both a duty to one’s own integrity, as well as to serve the integrity of the community. For those with “conservative values”, these virtues are already an imperative, so a hyperborean spirituality seeks to support them with an uplifting and factual spiritual ideology.

The individual who discovers Truth, the essence of Natural Law and the knowledge of the Self, is much better equipped to resist degeneracy and corruption, while also actively participating in a positive brotherhood (or sisterhood).

The balance between the wizardspiritual and physical levels of our experience allows for a culture to flourish.

The exploration of “inner space” is as important as action in the physical world. We must permit entheogenic exploration among those who are naturally equipped for such sojourning.

To cultivate a personal relationship with Spirit, and to engage it consciously, is to achieve a state of empowerment beyond the mundane. If society was structured with all of this in mind, the ability to subtly affect manifest existence for the benefit of our fellows would be substantially improved.

We need to learn to apply ourselves, how to spiritually preserve our environments and our people, and this transformation must begin with the individual. All power is vested in the individual, the incarnation (through fractal iteration) of Divinity on Earth.

An integral spirituality must have, in order to persist, a primarily individual foundation that is thereafter oriented towards the group, and only then extended to the collective.

Concerning Hyperborean Spirituality – Part 1

[Note: This article also contains modified contributions by beserkerguru & cairbethebard]

We hyperboreans possess an inherent reverent, introspective, spiritual, or “metaphysical” tendency, a tendency that, in recent history, has been primarily expressed through a variety of traditional religious and spiritual lenses, lenses rarely endemic to European cultures.

As a people, we have become spiritually weak. This is not to say that the spiritual impulse has been diminished in us, but that its potent expression has been suppressed.

The Spirit has chosen our people to do great things, and it is not yet done with us. This era presents us, as a people, with the ultimate challenge, and we must strive to meet it. We cannot sit idly while our people are extinguished from the Earth. That is merely escapism, and ignoring this duty will bring neither glory nor satisfaction.

Nature & Natural Law

There is no ultimate law but that of Nature itself. Natural law is a pervasive force that forcefully places us in our role, it leads us to our place in the tapestry, threading us in and out of it in turn. This is the eternal cycle of life, energy moving from form to form, bringing rise to countless novelties. It provides us with both bounties and challenges.

Yet what is Nature? The word nature derives from the Latin “nātūra”. The word means “conditions of birth, quality, and/or character”, and also is defined as “world or natural order”.

Using this word, we may say that things are “just in our nature” or that instinct is “natural”. We talk about the “beauty of nature” as an inherent quality of the “natural”. We contrast “artificial” with “natural”.

trees
Nature in Action

Nature is the primal activity of the “divine” principle of existence, the process through which the ultimate source of reality creates the myriad forms of life, energy, and matter. This process is spontaneous and continual. From the wellsprings of the infinite emerge countless distinct phenomena.

Some may take offense to the use of the word “divine” to describe this principle, seeking to be agnostic or materialistically scientific about the process. This is understandable, and acceptable, as long as this agnosticism is not blatant atheism.

Upon deep consideration, whatever the underlying principle of Nature is — the mysterious power that brings forth the cosmos itself, being capable of bringing rise to countless forms of life – it is certainly of a unique order and is worthy of the appellative “divine”, which is, after all, nothing more than a name.

Nature is not a God in the sense of being a “master builder” endowed with a certain personality and/or agenda. It is definitely not that. Rather, it is the manifestation of an inherent primordial impulse, which we simply choose to call Divinity.

Flatly rejecting the divine concept on the basis of semantics is akin to denying the existence of the cosmos itself. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you can, as many do, call it GNON (the God of Nature, Or Nature).

Through its spontaneous action, Nature eventually manifests beings who are endowed with varying degrees of awareness, who DO have goals and plans, who DO question. This is how the Divine principle becomes aware of itself, and thereby engages in conscious seeking and deliberation.

Nature is the process that spontaneously brings rise to life. The essence of Nature is a binary logic, and this governs the transformation of life – the forms themselves brought into being through the Divine impulse. Nature has an inherent analinear quality (being both cyclical, or recursive, and linear, or directed).

When engaged in the process of creation, Divinity does not stop to hesitate or question its creative nature; the Spirit does not plan or scheme, it simply creates.

wyrd1

Natural law governs all forms. Natural philosophy aims to discover and study these laws, to leverage them for the benefit of man. As human beings, we seek to understand the cosmos, our relation to it, and to divine the guiding principles of existence – “the laws of Nature”.

However, Nature is not simply a benevolent force. It is also a force that pushes us brutally and strengthens us through tragedy and triumph. We can choose to ignore this, and thereby suffer the loss of our place in the universe, or we can rise to its challenges, however great. In this way we may prove ourselves to be its agents in this act of the cosmic theater.

weave
The Fates

The laws of the tribes of man exist to promote survival. We subsist as long as we can. Society has taken many forms and names, but at the core, the society of men is an extension of Nature: it is no more than supporting your blood, your tribe, a tribe faced with a complex and hostile world.

Our small concerns are superimposed upon the grand scheme of Nature, this being a necessity for the mind to rapidly deal with its surroundings. Although we may be merely actors (for our roles are but short affairs) we may still steer the plot towards a better ending. Although we are ephemeral beings, we may endure through teaching others, and through the line of our descendants.

The Race Question

The Race Question was a report put out by UNESCO in 1950 to decide once and for all whether man was one species, or many sub-species. Of course the result was a foregone conclusion, as UNESCO were dedicated to combating ‘racism’, and (((Post-war Socialism))) – preached by the remaining cowardly intelligentsia who had managed to hide from the bloody and protracted fighting of the Second World War – would put forward the idea that all differences in the races were a result of purely environmental factors, such as economics, geographical location and cultural norms.

With this big idea, they would attempt to erase any sense of belonging or heritage in the races of men, and reduce them to amnesic wanderers with no history, no borders and no national allegiances. This misguided social engineering experiment would instead lead to the very dangerous place we are in currently, where Europeans – whose wicked ‘nature’ is apparently exempt from the environmental argument of sociologists – are being blamed for every problem in the world, and no other race can take responsibility for their own actions. Corporations are exploiting this plot hole as a way to enslave us all in what is fast becoming a totalitarian Global Socialist world.

By way of supporting this argument, I’ll take a look at some of the noted authors of this report, as I think they each merit a brief mention for their own interests. The full report can be found here.

The main rapporteur, or appointed investigator, of the report was Montague Francis Ashley-Montagu. Montagu was born in London as Israel Ehrenberg, and studied at the London School of Economics, where he became one of the first students of Bronisław Malinowski, who was an influential social anthropologist.

Juan Comas was a Communist Spanish Republican exiled during the time of Franco, who wrote many titles on social anthropology. He was also a recipient of the Bronislaw Malinowski award in 1978.

Luiz de Aguiar Costa Pinto was a Brazilian sociologist who specialized in race relations in Brazil. Brazil had long held to the idea that racial integration and mixing was the way forward. Particularly in São Paulo, the dominant idea was that national workers were unable to develop the country, and that only foreign workers would be able to work in a regime of “free” (i.e., wage) labour. The goal was to “whiten” Brazil through new immigrants and through future miscegenation in which former slaves would disappear by becoming “whiter”.

Edward Franklin Frazier was an American sociologist and author. A successful graduate of the then segregated US school system, his 1932 Ph.D. dissertation was published as a book titled The Negro Family in the United States (1939); it analyzed the historical forces that influenced the development of the African-American family from the time of slavery to the mid-1930s. The book was awarded the 1940 Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for the most significant work in the field of race relations. It was among the first sociological works on blacks researched and written by a black person.

Morris Ginsberg was a British sociologist, who played a key role in the development of the discipline. A Talmudic scholar, he later found his way into the London School of Economics, working under the professor Leonard Trelawny Hobhouse. Hobhouse was a leading internationalist of his day and an early proponent of Social Liberalism.

Claude Lévi-Strauss was one of the founders of ethnology and leading theorist of structural anthropology. He was born to French Jewish parents in Brussels, and during WW1 lived in Paris with his maternal grandfather, who was the rabbi of the synagogue of Versailles. He also stayed for some time in Brazil, where he served as a visiting professor of sociology at the University of São Paulo. Later, during WW2, he moved to New York, whilst his former wife stayed to work with the French resistance.

The report was revised by Ashley Montagu following criticisms submitted by various ‘great minds’ of the day, some of whom are listed below:

Hadley Cantril, a researcher of public opinion, and the main author of The Invasion from Mars, an academic study of Orson Welles’s 1938 radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds, which caused widespread panic.

Dr. Gunnar Dahlberg, a Swedish physician, eugenist and geneticist, and one of the signatories of the ‘Eugenics Manifesto’, a manifesto published in the journal Nature in 1939, titled Social Biology and Population Improvement.

Theodosius Grygorovych Dobzhansky, a prominent Ukrainian-American geneticist, evolutionary biologist and fellow signatory of the aforementioned ‘Eugenics Manifesto’.

Julian Huxley, whose name precedes him, was the first director of UNESCO, a founding member of the World Wildlife Fund and the first President of the British Humanist Association, as well as a eugenicist, and internationalist. He was also a signatory of the ‘Eugenics Manifesto’.

Otto Klineberg, who was a Canadian psychologist. His work in the 1930s on the intelligence of white and black students in the United States and his evidence as an expert witness in Delaware were instrumental in winning the Supreme Court school segregation case Brown v. Board of Education in 1954.

Herman Joseph Muller, an American geneticist and educator, who amongst other things loved the USSR and helped edit and distribute an illegal leftist student newspaper in the USA, The Spark.

Karl Gunnar Myrdal, a Swedish economist, sociologist, and politician. In 1974, he received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Friedrich Hayek for “their pioneering work in the theory of money and economic fluctuations and for their penetrating analysis of the interdependence of economic, social and institutional phenomena.” He is best known in the United States for his study of race relations, which culminated in his book An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy. The study was influential in the 1954 landmark U.S. Supreme Court Decision Brown v. Board of Education. He was also presented with the Bronislaw Malinowski Award in 1975.

Curt Jacob Stern, a Jewish German, whose teaching and 1949 textbook were instrumental in re-founding human genetics on a non-racist basis.

I will leave you with the closing paragraph of the report, which reads like an SJW manifesto:

‘biological studies lend support to the ethic of universal brotherhood; for man is born with drives toward co-operation, and unless these drives are satisfied, men and nations alike fall ill. Man is born a social being who can reach his fullest development only through interaction with his fellows. The denial at any point of this social bond between man and man brings with it disintegration. In this sense, every man is his brother’s keeper. For every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main, because he is involved in mankind.’

Memes and the Post-Riot Age

At the turn of the century a new form of media rose that virtually obsoleted the dominant media form which had a stranglehold over information for the past 100 years. News print, television and film have all suffered with the rise of the internet, and rightly so, as their deadly machines have been increasingly co-opted to serve a corrupted establishment, and their subversive and destructive agenda.
The internet has provided the world, particularly the Western world, with a new form of protest – the meme. Originally conceived by Richard Dawkins in his seminal work ‘The Selfish Gene’, a meme is the cultural equivalent of a gene (its similarity in name is no coincidence). Whereas genes are information passed down genetically from generation to generation, memes are information passed down through cultural means. The old joke “an Englishman, in Irishman and a Scotsman..” is a meme in that the same joke will be told in Iran as “an Iranian, an Iraqi and an Israeli…”. the framework which exists underneath the outer dressing is the meme.

As the internet has grown certain figures, images or icons have been used again and again to express a similar idea, universally understood by users. One such meme is Pepe the frog, who recently rose to prominence with the Donald Trump campaign. Many Trump supporters took control of the Pepe meme, which has existed on the internet for at least a decade, and used it as a form of protest against their enemies, to great effect.

In the 21st century protests, marches and their inevitable outcome, the riot, are now the reserve of angry, impulsive minority groups, which gives them the unconscious appearance in the European psyche of being course, rash, or crude forms of political or social expression. The meme has become a vastly superior sophisticated form of protest or psychological warfare to Europeans. The blatant lack of ability to understand and use memes by minority groups is painfully obvious.

Typical ‘black meme’

There are many in the European struggle who puzzle at the apparent apathy of their people to enact a response to the current situation, and it may seem that this lack of interest amounts to their certain death, at the hands of more energetic groups. Europeans have been through everything at least twice, their racial memory – always picking up subtle cues from the environment – is well aware of the amount of energy one expends when organising protests and marches and the such, and the relative futility of them in the face of the enemy. Europeans have become more nuanced in their behaviour and less physically obvious in their response to situations in which they are threatened. Once they had crusades and decades long wars, then revolutions, civil wars, pogroms, and short, large-scale ground offensives – each time becoming faster and more precise in the execution of the solution to the problem at hand. Europeans have faced their enemy many times before, and to respond the same way each time would be madness.

Europeans play politics like chess, reserve ones energy for the time when it will be most needed, and then, in as few decisive moves as possible, change the game. There is no longer any sense in bursts of energy, as these deplete vital stores and leave one unable to fully push back when needed. Instead, they suffer the spears and arrows, the constant insults and disrespect, the denigration and dismissal of their culture and the destruction of their civilisation, because they know deep down inside when the time is right they will strike back, and it will be devastating.

Iconography As Narrative-Shaping

octagramflag.png

Any symbol has the power to change the minds of those who view it. A symbol is even more powerful if that symbol has associations not explicitly stated in the depiction itself.

Abstraction is the means to compress information, and is one of the most powerful means of sharing ideas. Associations build around symbols and spontaneously become astral attractor fields (memes – in the broad sense of the word).

When crafting symbols, be aesthetic, and be clear on what the symbol means to you. To clarify: it is not initially important what a symbol means to others. Never craft a symbol with others in mind. First, have a clear idea of what it means TO YOU.

Obviously, what it means to others will rapidly become important. But without knowing its inherent associations, an abstract symbol is lacking in initial potency.

american flag
WHAT DOES THE ABOVE SYMBOL MEAN TO YOU?

The modern American flag is a powerful symbol. However, it is a diffused symbol, meaning that it has widely different connotations for different people. It may represent pride, angst, suffering, patriotism, comfort, nostalgia, confusion, happiness, sadness or a host of other things. But those who crafted the symbol initially had a clear idea of what it meant TO THEM, and this formed the foundation of the edifice of the symbol.

The symbol makers in charge of society work overtime to produce powerful symbols, and you should do the same.

GE DIGITAL CAMERA
The above symbol is from the 90’s TV Series “Space: Above and Beyond” – it indicated a right-wing nationalist movement in France in a fictitious future.

We desperately need a better and clearer class of symbols, ones that resonate with an integral ethos, and that serve the aims of the 21st century hyperborean man.

The creation, cultivation and diaspora of symbols is a MAJOR activity of mankind. Take care in crafting your symbols and examining what the symbols you encounter may represent, and what they mean to you.

Don’t let your symbols be defined by others, or limited to half-assed memes. Cultivate and propagate. Let the best symbols win.

Don’t let these be the symbols that will come to historically define us.

Essential Light Reading for the Alt Right

A selection of articles on self-improvement from the Reactosphere.

Something I’ve noticed after spending time in Reactosphere and Alt Right circles is this: My God, these people write a lot. And I don’t mean books or sonatas or screenplays; no, they generally confine themselves to writing articles. Long ones, and a lot of them, at all hours and covering a ridiculous volume of subjects ranging from transgenderism to the petrodollar.

Of these, the posts I find most enlightening (and more importantly, useful) are those related to personal improvement. The first duty of every man is to sort himself out, and so I find the articles which aid in that undertaking to be the most critical to our cause’s success.

Got yourself sorted, bucko?

With that in mind, I’ve decided to do you, dear reader, a tremendous favor by saving you the legwork of going and looking up all the best self-help pieces written by the leading reactionaries of the modern world (along with a few randos on the internet) and compiling them right here on Normfront for easy accessibility.

If you’re looking for a true political reading list to get you started on the path to actual ideological coherence, this isn’t the place for you. These will just be a few short articles providing tips on sharpening yourself into the best weapon in the hand of our movement you can possibly become. For such a “true” reading list, I would advise going here, here, here, or here.

Now, onto the list proper. Keep in mind, these are merely my personal recommendations for where to start on the road to making yourself great again.
